Notary Public & Commissioner for Taking Affidavits Service: Professional commissioning and notarization services available throughout Ontario. Appointments are with a Licensed paralegal via video conference. Some documents we regularly assist with include:

• Invitations and Sponsorship Declarations

Legal Advice and Document Preparation: Clear, practical guidance tailored to your situation, along with assistance preparing and reviewing legal documents within our areas of practice.​

Landlord and Tenant Matters: Representation before the Landlord and Tenant Board, including eviction proceedings, maintenance issues, rent disputes, and tenant rights advocacy.​

​

Small Claims Court: Assistance with claims up to $50,000, including contract disputes, debt recovery, and property damage claims, from drafting documents to full representation in court.​

Provincial Offences: Defence and representation for charges such as traffic tickets, by-law offences, and regulatory matters.​

Social Benefits Denial Appeals: Support with appealing denied, reduced, or terminated social assistance benefits. We have particular expertise with supporting folks navigating the Disability Tax Benefit. We assist with reviewing decisions, gathering evidence, preparing submissions, and representing clients through internal reviews and tribunal processes, with a focus on fairness, clarity, and effective advocacy.​

Tribunal Representation: Advocacy before administrative tribunals, including those related to employment, housing, and regulatory issues.​

Alternative Dispute Resolution – Negotiation & Mediation: Interest‑based negotiation and mediation services focused on resolving disputes outside of court. We help individuals, organizations, and communities navigate conflict using clear communication, collaborative problem‑solving, and culturally responsive approaches to achieve practical, sustainable outcomes.

What We Don't Do

​As licensed paralegals in Ontario, our services are guided by the scope of practice set out by the Law Society of Ontario. While we provide comprehensive legal support in many areas, there are some matters that fall outside our permitted scope. It is outside our scope to:

​

• provide legal services in family law matters, including divorce, custody, or support disputes;

​

• represent clients charged with an indictable offence (serious criminal charge);

​

• provide legal services in real estate transactions, including buying or selling property;

​​

• prepare or advise on wills, estates, or powers of attorney; or

​

• represent clients in the Superior Court of Justice, except in limited matters permitted by law.
